The ice that is melting and the polluted water are problems that cannot be waited. According to the political issues those could be wait until 5-10 years. Instead of the money that is invested on politics they should help the environment by becoming better. Alot of species are dying because of the polluted water  that they are consuming. If this keeps happening alot of animals are going to be extinct. Nature is considered so important because it involves wildlife that brings new things to the world.
     In my opinion nature is important but we could not help it if the economy dosen't get better. Money is one of the priorities that the U.S needs to rise up. In order to improve things better money depends on everything. If the U.S does not have money then there's no way that we could help other things. For example, oil was one of the problrms that we needed to solve because a lot of the animals that lived in the ocean were consuming it and dying. Money was one of teh reasons that they were able to stop the oil from liking or spreading.

Brown holds education briefing at UCLA

        This article is about the financial crisis that the state is going through. The crisis is about education and the budget cuts. Brown stated that he is going to do everything to minimize the cuts to public schools. Throughout this year they have lost 20 percent in K-12 teachers, the classes are big and the school year is shorter. This means that the students don't get the same education like they just to. Some educators want the state to rise above and to help the economic better so there won't be less money for schools. Brown says that there needs to be a solution for this problem because if this problem does not get solve then students won't be learning , they won't care. This is a problem because the less teachers we have the more bigger the classes are going to get.
        In my opinion James Brown has a hard problem to solve because its not only about students, but this also involves money. Teachers have a limit to get paid but if they are getting paid in a minimum wage then they are going to retired. It is true that the classes are getting bigger and that's a big problem because students won't have the same capacity to learn. Teachers won't be able to handle a big class, approximately about 30 students. Teachers would loose control. The only solution to this is if the governor dosen't spend money on weapons and use it to hire more teachers and to help the econimic better.

Banning cell phones in cars: The government's draconian 'plan

       This article is mainly about the Obama administration that might ban cellphones while they are driving. Ra La Hood is the secretary of transportation and she wants people to be focusing in the road she dosen't want any distractions that could cause an accident. Talking on the phone or texting they have shown the risk taht could cause an accident. Thre has been a controversy that cellphones could be dangerous but not as radios. Radios are considered a big distraction because the majority the people like to hear loud music and they intend to pay more attention to what they are listening instead of driving. Researchers have found alot of people talking or texting while they are driving and according to the radio or books it dosen't bring to much effect. Banning cellphones is a way that they could save people's life.
      In my opinion I agree that cellphones or texting are a big distraction while the people are driving and that's because when you are talking in the phone you get so into the converastion that by accidently you intend to forget on whta you are suppose to be concentrating in. Radios does not bring alot of danger while you are driving because you have the power to lower your music or books. Having cellphones been ban could decrease the rate on people getting injured. Unfortunately cellphones bring alot of danger when you are driving in a vehicle.

Is the U.S economy poised for a comeback in 2011?

        The New York Times states that next year which is 2011 the U.S is going to have more money. It was revealed that this Thursday alot of comapanies have been laying off alot of workers and the percentage of finding jobs or people hiring has been decreasing. According to these results there's less people who are going to struggle next year to pay their debts. They predict that laying people off is going to create more jobs and more money. The Republicans agreed to a 13 month extension of unemployment benefits by letting workers take more money home. Consumers are spending more money specially since the holidays arrived, this will increase the percentage of money to 3.3 percent . On Thursday it was shown the rise of the level on how the economic is improving.
        In my opinion this is sort of confusing because laying people off on their jobs is affecting them because they will need to find work in order to pay their debts. My question is how is this creating more jobs? I believe that this is only affecting the economic because workers wont be able to hire people because they don't have the money to pay them. And if they do they would have to pay them with  a low wage, and alot of people won't like that because is wont be enough money to support them or if they have a family. I think this mystery in help the economy is if the government or the president don't waste the money that is left over to use it if only its necessary.

        This article is about political issues such as people being unemployed, and body scanners. The people all over the world are mad because of immigration because they feel is unsecure and because they believe that America is not safe and is considered dangerous. They feel that terrosist are going to come and invaid their property or in other words take over. Such as the body scanners they feel that they are been sexually abuse because it shows their property and they feel that their rights are been violated. The body scanners is a away to show that when you aboard you feel secure and that there won't be no one threaten you with a gun or a bomb. It's for the safety of the people. Alopt of people look forward to get better job and a better wage but that only could happen if the economy improves. On the other side 60% of the people believe that there won't be any security check.
        In my opinion I believe that having body scanners is a way of being secure in the airplane. So you feel safe. In the other hand having the borders to be more secure is something that would be selfish, and that's because I believe that not all the people that come to the U.S are terrorist that want to take over. Some come from places really far away and that's because they want the best for their child. For example, education is one of the reasons thst people cross the border. They believe that their child could learn more and have more opportunities as the others. They believe that their children have the capacity to learn and succeed in life.

Congress Wasteful spend a thon: By the Numbers

         The government has been spending or investing money in projects. In the year 2010 the government spended $175 million to maintain unused building. Then he spended $1.8million on Neon on Boneyard Park at the museum that is located in Las Vegas. In order to help the university of Santa Cruz it was invested $615,000. In addition to that $930 million, $2.9 million, $2.2 million, $3.5 million, $15.68 million and etc. This money was wasted in things such as: amount of medicare pay for the people that don't have medical care, encouraging federal employess to hit pring because it less more wasted, and hepling rebuild the zoos. There's been alot of people who are really angry because this amount of money could be use in something more valuable. They feel that they pay alot of taxes and the government waste their money that won't benefit the others.
         In my opinion I feel that the government does not know the meaning of taxes, because if he did he wouldn't be investing a lot and he would help the people that need the help. The people have the right to be mad because they know the struggle they go through in order to pay taxes, they know the meaning of pain and balance things in order for their families to have the necessaries. According to the government he is demonstrating the opposite because it seems to him that money is not a problem and that he could take advantage by using the money from the public. This money could be use in giving more money to schools so the students could get a better education.

"For Hawaii governor, discrediting anti-Obama 'birthers is a top priority"

            This article is about a governor name Neil Ambercrombie that knew Obama parents. He knows that Obama was born on 1961and was not born in the United States. His desire is to expelled Obama from the offfice and know that he has the power to be the government of Hawaii. He became governor on December 6 and he intends to take some action. It has been told that the birth certificate of Obama was authentic. There's people who are investigating the case. One of the Democrats said that if he was the governor he would take out the papers and show it to the whole entire world that he was born in Hawaii and also call the press conference. The state clearly stated that taking all the records of Obama would be a violation of his citizen and would be violating his rights.
       In my opinion having Obama been taken awaay from his position which is office would be a dramamtic failure to the people. The whole world would be lost and sad, because a lot of peole relied on the president and look after him. Not having him in the office is like not having the good leader that they look up to, they have faith on him that one day he would change the entire nation and become better. I don't think that they would take Obama from his office because he has alot of support not only from the people but also the people that he works with. Being born in Hawaii still makes him a U.S citizen. The people see Obama like GOD.

Obama signs Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Repeal

On Wednesday president Obama sign the policy Dont Ask, Don't Tell that repeal the ban on gay men and women serving openly in the military. It was said that this policy made gays and lesbians hide their sexual orientation or face dismissal. More than 13,500 people were discharged because of this policy. People think that having this policy is similar as gay marriage. Obama said that whether your gay or straight and only want to defend it's country, and your country needs you and wants you then you are welcome and honored to serve your country openly. One of the gay people told Obama that finally the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy has been repeal and Obama said  I'm Proud! Not only did Obama has to sign this policy but also another one that is about taxes, where he had to make an agreement with the Democrats that would save alot of money according to the years. In addition, the Democrats forced Obama to accept the extensions of tax cuts for the wealthiest.
 Having this policy being repeal made the public happy and not only that but the people feel for once in their life time their voices have been heard. There won't be any discharges or racism towards the gay or lesbians, because they would have the right to serve openly in the military like the straight people. Their Amendments won't be violated anymore.

Soon the government check won't be in the mail

       This article is about starting next year on May 1, 2011 people wont be able to get their social security number or other check benefits by mail. Those who have social security number will have to make it by credit card or by deposit. The switch by electronic will be resolved by people worrying if someone has stolen their checks or if they have arrived. Every year the government receives over 600,000 claims for lost or stolen checks. In addition the government has decided that people who are 90 years old and over and are still gettting their social security number will receive the same benifits the same way. The government estimates that it will be over 275,000 who fall in this category. The people that don't have acoounts such as bank or credit will give them the option by allowing them to use Direct express that is issued by Comerica Bank.
     In my opinion having this policy made by next year is good because their will be less social security numbers stolen by people. This could make the rate decrease and there could be chances that the people are going to get their checks more secure. It is true that when you get your check by mail you have chances that someone could still your check and then you have to worry how you will pay the rent or how are you going to survive. You may not know but you are surronded by people who are thiefs, where ever you go  there will always be a person that is going to steal something from you. For example: MONEY OR CHECKS.

"Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal: Winners and Losers"

       This article is about the policy called Dont Ask, Dont Tell. This policy was prohibiting the lesbians and gays to serve openly in the military. With a 65 votes to 31 votes the Senate declared this policy to be banished. It was told that 8 Republican joined with Democrats to repeal the Bill. This Bill was pass in the House, and president Obama said that once he sees the Bill on the desk he promises that he will sign it. Th winners said that once this policy ends the gay and homosexual people would finally have a peace and won't be humuliated. They won't have to worry if they would be thrown out of the military. Their rights won't be violated and they would feel confidence that they are allowed to serve their country and it's duties. According to the Losers they feel angry and disappointed because they feel that having gays and homosexuals would be a distraction in the military.
       In my opinion this policy was violating the gays and homosexuals to serve in the military. The 1st Amendment clearly says the freedon of speech, religion, peaceable assembly and etc. The 14th states the state cannot take your rights. This policy demonstrated th opposite and LGBT felt that their rights were being violated and they felt that they were being discriminated. I believe that no matter how you look or your genre is diffrent from others everyone has the ability to have the same eqaulity as others. In this case color was not the problem or in other words racism but it was appearance. Appearance was the big issue that needed to be resolve. Having this policy to be repeal was one of the best choices.

L.A Council Members propose measure to curb spiraling pension costs.

This article is about that Eric Garcetti is trying to create more jobs in L.A. I t leads to the point that people at the age 55 and older they intend to retired and they replace those jobs to the new people who need them. Since this people are considered old they only have chances which is only 2% percent that people are going to get healthcare. Eric said that in the next 5years to 10 years they are going to have the massive retirements. That means that people would get hired and they would get a normal wage. This could benefit people who are unhired because they would be able to support their family by giving them more benefits.

I think that having more jobs would help unhired workers because they would be able to support their family by giving them their needs. They would get a normal wage, and the people that are retiring for the reason that they are old are going to get help by the government  by providing them their necessaries such as health care. Having this plan will help America to be considered  as more realistic.

California Governor's Debate (Last Debate)

            This debate is about immigration, education, and medical care. Whitman is Republican and Brown is Democrat. For each question that they where ask they only had 90 seconds to answer it. Whitman is running for government and she said that not everyone has a chance to sent their child to public schools. Brown said that California is a fabulous state, and wants to get California back in track. Whitman argues that she wants every family to get a job and make California to get stronger not weaker. Wants to protect Proposition 13 which is keep a lid of property taxex. Wants to create more jobs, more companies, decrease regulation, and reduce taxes. Whitman said that Brown is wrong because he wants to tax jobs, creators, and investments that's why he has made it difficult for companies to grow. She also said that they should put someone in office who is going to create jobs and not a person who's into politics. Brown said that he wants to develop schools, prisons, and wants to start a program on November. Brown says that Whitman doesn't have a plan. Whitman says that if we do not fix California then we would run out of money. California wastes 3.9 billion dollars. Brown and Whitman are going to defend the death penalty. Brown says teachers need to get pay more. Whitman says that there needs to be more charter schools and help every children. Have the best public schools in America. Brown said that Whitman  has been taking money out of school. Brown says that she could of at least get the house keeper a lawyer.
        In my opinion I think Whitman should not be elected as a governor because to me she seems a selfish person because she is only thinking about herself eventhough she says taht she wants to help every child to have a education. Compare to Brown he seems a very honest person who's capable to recognized his errors. For example, when he call Whitman a horr he apologize and that demonstrated alot of his personality. He seems to be fair and wants to help the people.

Freedom Of Religion

           In the article "Freedom of Religion" they are violating her First Amendment by not letting her attend the school. Adriana feels that having her nose pierce inner acts with her religion by showing respect and if that's the case it shouldn't affect  no one. The 1st Amendment firmly clears that they have the freedom of speech, religion, and peaceable assembly. This means that she has the right o express herself however she wants. Having a nose pierce wont affect her education in other words not coming to school just because the school thinks that she is violating the dress code is affecting her by missing lessons in her classes. In this situation the school wont let her come in unless she comes without a nose pierce. If she comes back they are going to suspend her for 5 days or even 10 days.

        In my opinion I think it does not affect her education, I believe that she has the right to express herself without any judgement from the school. In my perspective the school has to support you instead of going against you. The school has to support you by telling the students that having a nose pierce wont affect her but ot will affect her by missing days and lessons that will help her in the future. Also Adriana believes that by missing days of school it will affect her in the future and the only thin she wants is accomplishing things that will hep her in life and that will be by going to college.
